So I joined my boyfriend’s fantasy league in his leagues desperate attempt to make the league bigger, so naturally as a corgi lover I named my team “The Wiggly Corgis”. I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve made The Wiggly Corgis mascot (team photo) Waffles since he has the right amount of derp and adorableness for the job.

Waffles is okay!

About 2 weeks ago, he was showing some allergy symptoms to whatever. The vet put him on Cephalexin. Apparently this can cause stomach issues (vomiting), even in humans.

The other option is that Waffles just wanted some fresh rice & chicken for nomnoms. I wouldn’t put it past a corgi.

Corgi on!

Waffles isn’t feeling so well. He hasn’t been able to keep down food or water for a day. Doc says its a possible blockage in the intestine. He got some cherry flavored barium for the night, and will get more xrays tomorrow if he’s still vomiting.

Poor little buddy is exhausted!

Why did you choose to get a corgi over other breeds and did you ever consider getting a rescue dog? Love Waffles and all the pictures here by the way, its my favourite tumblr :)

We chose corgi because I’ve wanted one for years. They are just funny looking. We considered a rescue, but one of us wanted “the puppy experience”.

Luckily we kept our power. Waffles had a backup derping schedule just in case though.

Is The Wafflemeister teething? I dog-sat a corgi this weekend who was around Waffles’ age, and she chewed EVERYTHING.

Nope! All of his little chompers fell out and the big boys are in! Thank goodness! Waffles was never a big chewer, except bones and bully sticks.
